I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #26, I haven't done one of her sketch challenges in awhile so I went for it! I really love the Fall Flowers Designer Series Paper and planned my card around that gorgeous paper.
I started with a 5-1/2" x 11" piece of Really Rust cardstock, folded in half. I then sponged the edges with Really Rust ink. This is probably one of my least favorite colors but since I decided to go with this paper, I did not have much of a choice. I took a 5" x 4-1/2" piece of Old Olive cardstock and stamped it with my Linen Background stamp using Old Olive ink and then sponged the edges with the same. On top of that, I placed a 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Fall Flowers Designer Series Paper and tied a piece of Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon around the left side of it. Next, I took a 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Soft Sky cardstock and sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. I used the 'Happy Birthday' stamp from Amazing-to-Zany and stamped it with Chocolate Chip ink. For the flowers, I needed daisies to match the paper so I used Petal Prints (even though it's retired, I still love it!). I stamped them with Timber Brown Staz On ink and then used my Aquapainter to color them in with Really Rust ink, Soft Sky ink, and Chocolate Chip ink. I cut them out and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I finished the card of with Vintage Brads. Thanks for looking!
