well, sort of. I came across it on Laurie's site and thought it'd be fun to play along. I've never done one of these before, so it might be a little fun...
The rules are:

1. I am a total perfectionist, which is often an annoyance to me. I will sometimes sit in the store and try to pick out the "best" item out of the stack...whether it be macaroni and cheese boxes (okay, that's definitely an exaggeration, I promise...but, you get my point!) or magazines on the rack (even though I know I'll be handling it once I buy it so what does it matter?!). I've gotten better about it since becoming a mom, probably because my time at the store is a little more precious now with a newborn. I know my hubby is used to it by now so he doesn't pester me about it, he'll often just pick an item from the back of the shelf for me because that's what I'll probably do anyways, LOL.
2. We live in one of the most gorgeous beach vacation destinations in Florida but we NEVER go. I imagine it's because both my husband and I grew up just 5 minutes from the beach so we spent plenty of time at the beach growing up. Sad, isn't it?!
3. My husband and I grew up less than 5 minutes from each other...went to rival high schools, had the same mutual friends, and were in at least a half dozen places at the same time but didn't meet each other until freshman orientation in college. To add to the fun, we ended up living in the same co-ed dorm our freshman year of college and ironically both moved (with our own roommates) into the same townhome complex for the remainder of our college careers. Guess it was just meant to be...
4. I love new technology...video games (especially our wii), pda's (that new ipod touch looks really cool!), computer software. Yep, I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to that stuff :)
5. I have lived or spent a good amount of time across the entire state of Florida. East Coast, West Coast, South, Central, Panhandle...you name it! Whether it be living somewhere growing up, attending college, or working...I've been there and I feel like I know the whole state like the back of my hand.
6. My parents share the same birthday and so did my grandfather before he passed away. I thought my daugther and I would have the same birthday as well but she ended up arriving just 1 day before my birthday.
7. I love any and all sports...whether I'm watching or playing, it's all fun and enjoyable to me! I love watching college football (go noles!) and I especially love to snowboard and play golf. The crisp, cool mountain air while boarding down to the bottom of the mountain or stopping to smell the fresh cut grass while enjoying a relaxing round of golf...there's just nothing like it.
Well, that was fun. Now, I'm off to bed...got to catch up on my Zzzz's. I'm not going to go around tagging people because I'm completely exhausted but if you'd like to participate, leave me a post linking to your site and I'll gladly go and read it :)

Fun stuff! I do the perfectionist thing at the store when I'm buying deodorant or underwear or stuff like that, I'm right there with you, lol!
I think LSU had like one penalty called on them last night, not fair. Yeah, a real champion with two losses in the regular season, way to go BCS. Though Ohio St. did lose to stinky Illinois, I still can't believe that one. Oh well, at least we beat Michigan! Man, I like having a blog buddy that talks football!
