I'm trying to get back...

into stamping. I often find myself guessing how so many of you do it. Then it dawned (no pun intended) on me at 3:30am this morning...when I could not sleep...no way, no how. I was wide awake and thought to myself, ah-ha, so maybe this is when people stamp/craft/hobby - early in the morning or late at night. So, there you have it...this busy mom is going to start experimenting with different times of day so I can have "me" time again :) Bear with me as I figure out what works for me, boy do I miss stamping! I am also placing my order out of the brand new catalog so hopefully there will be more projects from me then!

So, as I was sitting wide awake in bed...I said to myself, well maybe I'll go do some challenges for old times' sake. And so, this card was created using today's SCS color challenge CC182 and Beate's weekend sketch challenge #55. I think it might work well as a masculine birthday card:

Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Kraft, Shimmery White

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Accessories: 1/4" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Ticket Corner Punch, Vintage Brads, Jumbo Antique Brass Eyelets, Paper Piercer, Stampin' Dimensionals (I know you can't tell from the picture, but the image is popped up.)

Thanks for dropping by and feel free to leave a comment sharing what time of day you use as your "me" time. This inquiring mind would like to know ;) Enjoy your day!

Stephanie, your card is adorable! I am sorry you couldn't sleep, but I am glad you stamped!
I hope we can get together this week again. I had a blast last week.
Hugs and smiles

This is sooo cute! I stamp when the baby naps in the afternoon, or after he goes to bed at night. Good luck figuring out what works for you!

I love the brass eyelets and warm colors!

Late at night is when this mommy gets her "me" time!

Hi Stephanie!
This card is just darling. I can totally identify with the not sleeping issue, but you sure did a great job with this.

Happy to see you're stamping again. Enjoy!!!
