3-in-1

My parents have been in town visiting for the last few days. After they went to bed tonight, I decided to stamp a card for fun. I haven't had the chance to do this in a long while. Since we have plans to travel for Memorial Day this weekend, I'm not sure I'll get any stamping in before we leave. So, I did some challenge hunting...I decided to try 3 challenges for this 1 card. This might be a first for me, actually. I had to be really creative, it was fun!

First, I checked out the SCS Sketch Challenge. Next, I decided to use the colors for the GSG Color Challenge. Then, as I was working with those two challenges, I had remembered seeing Beate's Be Inspired Challenge which primarily had a floral pattern to it. With that being said, I was inspired by the flowers and the lines in the photo. Some of the colors are actually also very similar to the GSG Color Challenge (Celery, Kraft in the wood background, and Coral in the plate...well sort of, eh, close enough - it's probably closer to Pumpkin Pie). Anyhow, here is my card:

Stamps: Spring Solitude

Paper: Kraft, Certainly Celery, Cameo Coral, Whisper White, Ginger Blossom DS

Ink: Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery

Accessories: On Board Blossoms and Basics Chipboard, Eastern Elegance Rubons, Certainly Celery 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelets, Vintage Brads, CB Stylized Flowers Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals (for the center vertical panel)

The Sketch Challenge and Color Challenge are pretty self explanatory. Here is how I was inspired for the Inspiration Challenge...in addition to how I used the colors I had mentioned above. The flowers that are in the green plate have 4 petals, as does the chipboard flowers I used. Also, the stems on the red/green flowers on the right hand side (tablecloth, maybe?) have the same lines as this pattern in the Ginger Blossom DS. So, that was how I was inspired...hope this makes sense!

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!! I'll do some more stamping and posting after the weekend.
