I really wanted to use a stamp set out of our new Holiday Mini Catalog, so I chose Love & Joy. I also used Peaceful Wishes - I think this is such a pretty stamp set!I started with a 3-1/4" x 6-1/2" Always Artichoke card front. Then I did a 1/4" smaller layer using Dashing Designer Series paper. I stamped the 'joy' in Always Artichoke on a 2-1/2" x 2" piece of Very Vanilla card stock. The background image is in River Rock but stamped off once. I then added 1/4" smaller layers of River Rock and Real Red card stock behind it. For the circles, I used the 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" circle punches. I also used the 1/2" circle punch for the Real Red circles w/ brads in the center. The ticket corner punch was used throughout for a little extra something on the corners. Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware was used along with Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and Beachfront Ribbon Originals.
I really had fun creating this card! Thanks for looking and I hope you all enjoy the weekend...boy, am I glad it's here! No big plans, just a weekend of relaxing at home :)
