SCS Color Challenge #128

Today's SCS Color Challenge was Groovy Guava and Soft Sky. I found it difficult to use just the 2 colors so I added in Kraft and Whisper White.

I started with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Groovy Guava card front but decided after playing around with my layout that I'd go with a 4-1/4" square card instead. Beate has gotten me hooked on the square card and I'm having a hard time getting away from it. I think the square cards are just oh so pretty :)


I went with SU's Looks Like Spring stamp set because it has the floral punch that goes along with it. I added a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Soft Sky stamped with the background from this stamp set and two 3" x 2" pieces of Kraft and Whisper White layered on top of each other. For the greeting, I used SU's Hugs & Wishes since I can always use a birthday card! For the dotted border, I used SU's All in a Row set. To finish it off, I added a SU Ice Rhinestone Brad and a strand of Black Gingham Ribbon.
